April 08. Sodexo Prestige appoints new Managing Director
Sodexo Prestige, the UK's largest event caterer and provider of corporate hospitality packages, has appointed Chris John as its managing director.
Chris has joined Sodexo from the British Horseracing Board where he was marketing director for four years. He has considerable experience in both the sport, hospitality and leisure sectors, including senior roles with Scottish and Newcastle Retail.
"I'm thrilled to have joined a business with such a dedicated and professional team and an extraordinary mix of high profile clients," said Chris. "I look forward to working with my colleagues at Prestige to exploit some fantastic opportunities."
As a keen sports fan with a passion for horse-racing, golf and rugby, Chris will combine his personal enthusiasm and strong professional expertise to manage Sodexo Prestige's catering contracts at prestigious events such as The Open Golf Championships and Royal Ascot, visitor attractions such as Blenheim Palace and Knebworth House and sporting venues including Epsom Downs Racecourse, as well as Murrayfield and Hampden Park stadia in Scotland.
Chris lives with his wife and two children in Hampton, Middlesex.
