Meetings, conferences and events at the Dean Gallery, Edinburgh

The colourful neo-classical Dean Gallery, situated in the centre of Edinburgh opposite the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, is a fashionable setting for cocktail receptions and exclusive private views.

The Dean Gallery houses an extensive collection of Dada and Surrealist art including works by Dali, Magritte and Miro.  The Gallery is also home to modern and contemporary exhibitions as well as a large collection of works by Sir Eduardo Paolozzi (including the 30ft high Vulcan sculpture and a recreation of the artist’s studio).

Drinks receptions for up to 150 guests can be held at the gallery and tours from our expert in-house curators can be tailored to suit your event.

Dinners for up to 40 guests can be accommodated in the magnificent Great Hall where guests are entertained at the foot of the Paolozzi’s Vulcan sculpture.

Dinners and receptions for up to 600 guests can also be held in marquees on the Dean Gallery lawn.
