The National Gallery of Scotland is situated in the very heart of Edinburgh’s city centre. It is home to Scotland’s greatest collection of European Art from Renaissance to Post-Impressionism and is quite simply one of the most prestigious settings in Scotland for corporate events. It is linked to the Royal Scottish Academy Building via the world-class visitor facility, The Weston Link.

Cocktail receptions for up to 600 guests or banquets for up to 250 (and on occasion more) can be accommodated in this unique venue. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive private view of the gallery’s treasured collection in the company of an expert curator, whilst enjoying champagne and canapés in wonderful surroundings. For dinner, guests dine alongside some of the galleries’ most remarkable works of art.

Music and entertainment can be arranged, as well as dramatic flaming torches to flank the entrance to this magnificent neo-classical building. As a climax to the end of the event, a Scottish pipe band can “Beat the Retreat” on the Mound Plaza as guests depart. The view up to Edinburgh Castle is unbeatable: a truly memorable end to a successful evening.
