Directly below Hawthornden Court lies the Early People Gallery. Telling the story of the Scottish land and people from their earliest beginnings to approx 1100AD, the gallery exhibits include Roman gold hoards and the fabulous Paolozzi statues designed to display jewellery from the earliest times. This gallery can be used as a reception area before dinner in Hawthornden Court or the Main Hall, or as a dining venue for smaller, more intimate groups of up to 70 guests.
