Considered by many to be Scotland's finest example of Victorian architecture, the Main Hall in the Royal Museum was inspired by the designs for Crystal Palace. Unique in Scotland, infinite slender columns and four curving staircases create a sense of grace and elegance.
The grandeur of this magnificent space is a sumptuous backdrop for spectacular, unrivalled events – dinner dances, film premiers, award ceremonies. Receptions on the first floor balcony offers a birds-eye view of the hall with its ornamental ponds below whilst the guests explore the collections with their champagne in hand.
